Ceylon Crypto Council is a member led; member driven organization dedicated to improving the public policy environment for crypto networks. We are the unified voice of the Cryptocurrency & Blockchain industry in Sri Lanka Blockchain networks & the cryptocurrencies that fuel them are transforming financial and digital services around the globe. We’re a collective of industry leaders advocating for the innovation and collaboration necessary to support Sri Lankan leadership of this industry.
Our goal: is to improve the public policy environment so that blockchain networks can thrive in Sri Lanka while helping entrepreneurs grow in this industry. Today, there are barriers to these advancements. Innovators face regulatory minefields, and technical knowhow limitations while lawmakers must navigate complex consumer protection and security concerns. We’re committed to creating deeper partnerships—within and between industry and relevant bodies—to share knowledge, identify opportunities, and co-create a digital future that’s more transparent, inspiring, secure, and equitable to all stakeholders in Sri Lanka.
Who We Are: Our members are chosen for their commitment to responsibly building and investing in the next generation of digital services in the cryptocurrency/ blockchain Industry.
They range from Cryptocurrency projects/ blockchain projects to early-stage investors, exchange platforms, and other infrastructure providers.
Council members are chosen via invitation.
